High Calcium & Low Mg, KH

Hi,

Need your advise on how to correct the water parameters. Current parameters as below:

Mg = 1250

pH = 8.2 (light off) to 8.4 (light on)

Cal = 500

KH = 7

KH is depleting fast and cant push Mag up to the reasonable levle? What should I do to maintain KH and Mag at reasonable range? Appreciate your help. txs

do a water change and observe parameters for changes.

Yup water changes is the easiest and cheapest way to increase your mg level.Juz take note that certain saltmix is known to have low levels of calcium and magnesium.Gd luck.

The mg looks okay wat... unless u are into chasing figures... try buffer your kh slowly and see if it will balance up... if not, den juz change water, try changing about 20-30% every 2 days...
