i would suggest only 2 feet tank use 6mm.... 3 feet... better off with more worry-free nights... go for 8mm.....

If you are starting off as a beginer and not really sure abt your love for this hobby, i suggest you can start off with a 2/3ft but as for thickness is up to you. if thin wall then don't put too much weight (LR) onto it... :)

actually it is true la . :rolleyes: . my mum always nag after i change water .. cos there are sure to be some spills.. dunno know why lei .hehe. the floor will become stickly.. therefore got to mop.. ( backache :P)

Hmm ... The type that you recommend expensive huh ?

Actually , I just though of picking up tank from rubbish chute area or some void decks and try , since alot ppls throw away tanks nowadays .. becos no more louhan liao ...

I did had a tank 2ft normal one with some LS in it now. but wana try something better .. lol ...

If someone cannot sell their tank and no space to keep i can keep for them ... :P

I think fat hope la ... hahahaha

anyway thanks for the informations. Will save $ first .

I just pick a tank ... think is 2.5ft x 1.25ft x 1.25ft . 5mm only .....

Haha ... also found a 3ft RI stand ... but ..... dunnoe got leak or not .....

btw .. your 2.5ft dimension is ? is it the same as what i just found ?

my advice is if u wanna be serious in the hobby... u better spend... for less worries and more enjoyment...

then u can scrimp and save all you want... and prob try to achieve a cheaper tank than lizard44....
