Algae Goby ?

i got one three inch algae goby. supposed to help me clean my brown algae in my tank but i see it munching at my LR all the time. does it really eat algae or issit a useless goby to keep? is i rear corals, do i need to get rid of it?

btw issit a mud skipper cos i think it looks like one

It's a blenny, not goby.

No..gobies and blennies will not eat corals. Only fish to do so are most butterflyfish, the orange spotted filefish and some angelfish. Stay away from these 3 types of fishes and you should be safe with everything else.

Always something more important than fish.
