if you get the zoo eating nudis then it is a big headache.

What you can do is to first treat your infected zoos. As the other reefers has suggested, lugols solution is good. You can also use a fresh water dip. Take out your colony and soak in fresh water for 5 mins. Please time this as I found that prolong dipping is no good (try not to exceed 10 mins). At the end of the 5 mins, give the colony a good shake, in and out of the water (creating some splashes). You will find some, if not most, of the nudis dropping.

Next you inspect the whole colony for tiny spirals, these are the eggs that FW dips cannot get rid of. They have to be removed manually.

Subsequently return the button to the tank with moderate flow and keep a close watch. Most of the time, the colony will recover, no matter how pathetic it looked originally. However, the colouration will need more time to recover.
