How To Get Rid Of Algae?

My tank have the same situation... clean the glass surface often if u can't stand the ugly sight. The algae will stop growing once the silicate and phosphate have been used up.

So i think that's why it's always better to use salt that are phosphate free...wouldn't have recurring incidents.

Rowaphos is some phopsphate-absorbing medium. Besides rowaphos, there are also other brands available on the mkt and they serve the same purpose.

it will dissapear when your uhh silicates and phosphates drop i think.. mine dissapear gradually without any help.. but requires alot of patience..

i also use magnet cleaner to wipe off the front of my tank so my eyes won't hurt.. hehe

then i add in 'TURBO SNAILS'

it helps really but u know tips on buying them.. find the ones that is sticking to the wall of the lfs store.. i get the one in their show tank somemore or their holding tank.. as i know the lfs owner.. hehe
