Fishes Getting Thin, Then They Die

Recommended Posts

I have a file fish in the tank. It's been there for 2 months no problems at all. Was eating fine. Just a few days ago, I discovered it "lost weight" was becoming very very thin and I could actually see the skin pressed against the bone of the fish. This morning, it passed on to fish heaven.

Just last week a goby also had this problem and died off.

What's wrong? is it some disease? Both were eating fine and swimming happily in the tank.

Sounds like a long term effect of nutritional deficiency. What food are you feeding them with? You might think of changing a brand?

Always something more important than fish.
