Chiller & protein skimmer

Hi all, had setup my new 5ft L x 2.5ft H x 2.5 ft H marine tank. sourcing for a good yet price reasonable skimmer. anyone can recommend? as for the chiller, am looking at RESUN 650. has anyone used a Resun chiller before? can give some feed back or recommenation? thks alot

Talk to Janet from Aquamarine (jalan Kayu). She has the resun chillers.The beckett skimmer looks absolutely solid . I m oso consideringupgading tothe beckett

Main Tank : 48 inch by 36 inch by 28 inch (2 sides starphire glass)
Sump Tank :
Return Pump :
Chiller : Starmax Compressor 1 HP Drop coil
Chiller Return Pump
Protein Skimmer :
Wave Maker :
Fluidised Reactor :

for such a big tank, you cannot use the resun cl650 which is only 1/4hp (if i remember correctly)

u need sth like 3/4hp.

even a 1/2hp would not be sufficient if using mh lights

i agree with dazza that her becketts are worth it.

good price and great skimmer.

you won't regret buying a beckett...but then again, you wouldn't apreciate it fully if u hadn't used a weipro or macro b4 :P
