Light sufficient for LPS coral

Can anyone tell mi wat is the light i need if i wan wan to keep coral like hammer, jewel, frogpawn & etc in a 3X1X1.5 tank? is 3ft T5 of 4 X 39w or a MH light 2 X 150 & 2 x 24 w pl suitable? pls also recommend a brand of Lighting for this.

if use t5 light, ard 6mths need to change the tube n the tube is quite x. and if use mh it can last u ard 8mts n u can c the shadow make yur reef quite nice but the problem is the water will b hot... make sure got chiller/fan.. better to use mh cause wait if wan to play sps still can mah... my oppinient. hope u understand my english n correct mi if i m wrong. happy reefing.

if using Mh wat the specfication requirement? 150w , 250W? since my tank depth is onli 1.5 ft man

actually depend on u lor.. got chiller. can use 250 so tht can colour up the sps if u going to keep...

If ur tank height is 1.5ft, T5 is enough to help to grow ur coral.

But the price of T5 is ex than a MH.

Provided u got a chiller, then u can try MH.

much more better than T5.

4x39 watts IMO is definitely sufficient to keep lps..
