hi guys, today was looking at my tank when i spotted a baby jewel about 3mm across below its mother coral.

ok i know many will think "could you be mistaken" since its so small, could it be sth else, but no, i took a long hard look and i'm sure its a baby jewel :yeah:

i'm very excited but at the same time clueless about

1)what do i need to take note of...is there any special care that i need to give it?

2)what does this propagation speak of the health of the parent jewel?

many thanks in advanced to any who advices on this :thanks:

maintain ur water quality, keep parent rock as healthy as possible..when the baby is "ripe" it will drop off frm the parents rock.. by then do hse it somewhere in beta box or low flow area.. careful of those crab in ur tank too..i believe i had lost once to the crab.. sigh.. they will have them for meal coz they are still delicate.. ;)

enuff of my $0.01 :lol::lol:

Good luck.. :peace:
