I doubt u can find sure tools. It will be better to decide what u intend to keep and learn abt their requirement. Its better this way in a long term.

ya true bro. I agree with u....val...decide what u want ...and if want, spend $$$ on MH lah.... ;)

No point..wattage is a poor measurement of the amount of lighting you require. You need to factor in other things like PAR and efficiency. For example, 150 watts of metal halide will definitely be more intense than 150 watts of fluorescent tubes simply cause MH has a higher PAR.

One should not save on lights, nor any other marine equipment. Future upgrades will end up more costly.

Always something more important than fish.
