just wanna share with you that i before i decided to buy the wavebox, i read the manual and realised that u need to have a height of 5-6 inches allowance from the top.

I think it's not 5 to 6 inches.. I'm using it and need only an allowance of about 5cm. :)

Day...5cm is abt 2inch+ only! But one side of the eurobracing for mine is actually a inch+ onli.... how the wave effect? do u still have much allowances when the wave reaches to the other side of yr tank?

Thanks

Day- hows the impact overall on your system? Wavebox looks good, but I worry the wave effect will burst the silicon seams on my tank.

Currently using a 3ft 10mm tank (no eurobracing or middle bracing). Same thinking as AT. Don't think the wavebox will be able to cause the silicon seams to burst unless using those 6mm tank with poorly applied silicon. Have been using it for 2mths or so already without any bad side effect.

The wave effect can be adjusted accordingly to your needs. My wave currently move up and down by about 2 to 3cm if measure from the side only..however you can adjust it to move up and down by 1cm or so..but then again, in my opinion it will defeat the purpose of buying a wavebox in the first place.

I think its overrated unless you really buy a cheapo freshwater tank with thin walls and lousy poorly applied silicon.

...then can sue the tank maker!:lol::lol:

Mange to take a video clip of the tunze on my 3ft tank. The water level is about 5cm measure from the top.. Tunze wavebox move the wave up and down by about 2cm.Wavebox is place under water level about 6cm..

sorry to be greedy but bro, can we have a whole view of tank to see maximum effect?

thanks thanks.

an over rated stuff and a chey....

dont expect those full swing look alike that u see in tunze demo clip.. unless u hook up 4 wave box....

and it's dam too big.. if u find the steam very unsightly then forget about buying wavebox cause it's eveb more 400 times unsightly.....

alansean... so the current created good or not???

current.. i hardly can see it.. expect on the top of the wavebox...

i can only see slight swinging motion on my bubble coral which is at the far end of my 5ft tank... and I do see all those dirt falling out from the behind LR..

all in all.. I can say it quite a gd product.. but the impression given from the tunze demo clip is over rated... so dont expect to see big swinging motion unless u want to put in 4 wavebox...
