rockscaping

any nice sites to view how to get a good rockscape?? im re-scaping my tank this weekend... irritated by the lack of space for corals..

any pros to teach me?? all lps and softies only.. no sps..

i just did my landscape last night,

suppose to do it during the last weekend

but the mood is not there, so no matter how the arrangement do not please me.

my suggestion is that

remove all your rock, do a study on the shape

have an idea what shape you wanted to be

lay it on the floor,

untill you happy with it then transfer to your main tank

from the tank, do some minor adjustment to make it better,

normally those bigger pcs will be at the base, build a bridge with some flat rock

no sure your shape,

but i think it is indiviual preferrence

it always a pcs of art

have you consider using egg crates or pvc piping to form a structure for the LR? I understand many reefers posted thier project online so it won't be difficult to find out more if you are interested. Some even incoporate a closed loop circulation within the pvc structure.

i have a 3.5ft x 2 x 2 reef tank and a 3ft x 2 x 2.5 fowlr tank which is now currently cycling.

I like the rockscaping of Slcw tank, it's spacious and has a natural reef look. But will maybe do away with the extra rock lying at the centre. I hope it's alright for using his pict here.
