Crabs!

Hi guys,

While looking at tank last night, I spotted two small crabs beside my coral. I tried catching them with a tweezer but the damn fella is quick! It moved into the LR before I could reach it.

I plan to trap them using the gass bottle from essense of chicken and some pellet food.

1) How long does it usually take for the crab to get trapped? I'm afraid the fishfood will foul my water as its only a 2 footer. :pinch:

2) Can the bottle be placed horizontally?

if it's horizontally, the crab might be able to get out... most of the time ah, if the placement of your bottle is right, one night should be enough to get rid of the crab..

try placing the bottle at a 45 degree angle..
