Hi, need you guys help to teach me how to install the skimmer. I guess this should be the hang on type since I notice the screw on clip. Can anyone teach me how to do this? I've got the ASF-400 skimmer and a Dymax PH1200 pump. This should be a venturi style skimmer.

Thanking you guys in advance for any help! :P

Hi the 2nd pic, the "inlet" facing u in the pic(with a small protruding thing for u to plug the air hose" that links to the "shorter" tube with the black inverted prizm thingy is yr inlet and u shld connect that to the powerhead, the other hole on the right in the pic that links to the longer tube inside the chamber is the outlet for water to flow out.Hope it helps

OK, I've finally got it figured out but problem is my bubbles are not fine and small like most of yours, mine are BIG! I am using normal tap water. Not sure if that's the toggle with respect to using salt water...

I've taken some pics to show u guys, do help! getting frustrated.... :cry2:

hi guys. got it up and running as everyone described. I took the tissue to wipe the cone and the liquid is yellowish in color after 1 hr so this definitely works! just one quick question, how do you guys determine the water level to adjust for the knob? my take is that we probably adjust such that water doesn't overflow into the collection cup, so basically I have my current lvl just below the cup/cone. is this ok?

Here is a pic of my Marco Venturi Skimmer which took 5 days to give this type of skimmate and check here for more details:

Btw, can't complain with this type of skimmate from a Marco skimmer. ;)
