SRC Member linkiat Posted April 3, 2005 SRC Member Share Posted April 3, 2005 Hi, need you guys help to teach me how to install the skimmer. I guess this should be the hang on type since I notice the screw on clip. Can anyone teach me how to do this? I've got the ASF-400 skimmer and a Dymax PH1200 pump. This should be a venturi style skimmer. Thanking you guys in advance for any help!

What do I do with the small 'inlet' attach a small tubing to it and leave it as it is? Thanks for any help provided!

SRC Member linkiat Posted April 4, 2005 Author SRC Member Share Posted April 4, 2005 hi guys. got it up and running as everyone described. I took the tissue to wipe the cone and the liquid is yellowish in color after 1 hr so this definitely works! just one quick question, how do you guys determine the water level to adjust for the knob? my take is that we probably adjust such that water doesn't overflow into the collection cup, so basically I have my current lvl just below the cup/cone. is this ok?
