HELP!! COMPUTER PROBLEM

Hi all bro,

Need help with PC. Keep getting pop-up site like:

http://www.spotresults.com/ and others

and pc getting shut down !!!!

WAT TO DO??? HELP

wat O/S r u using?

if using XP check whether u have applied SP2?

not sure if u r infected with w32.blaster . once infected will cause shutdown in 60 sec

pc running on XP. did not applied for SP2. when try to discontinue from their site cannot.

will check about blaster.

you can stop it from shuting down in 60 seconds

this is how u do it

1) go "Start"

2) go "run"

3) type "cmd" enter

4) type "shutdown -a" enter

then the shutdown will be aborted.

suggest you also install anti-spyware program like spydoctor or spybot.....do a search for them in google - should be able to find the free download for them

I used to have lots n lots of pop-up when using IE....try download anti-popup software (free one) oso cannot curb it till my frien intro mi using Mozilla Firefox (kno very little abt software but was told tis browser was based on Nescape) ....

very satisfy with it in gettin rid of the popup. I only hv problem when using it to make some online transaction, somehow dun sppt Nescape and hv to switch back to standby IE.

try using google toolbar.

blocks pop-up. and u can simply do a search with its bar.

darn useful for pple always using google.
