dart fire fish problem

any idea to bring my fire dart fish come out? coz it juz hiding and never come out leh. the 1st day still ok... swim here and there, but now.... difficult t ofind somemore.

food should bring it out. upon introducing it to the new system, avoid putting your hands into the tank for the next few days. hopefully, you dimmed the lights when you introduced it.

but, now is oreadi 5 days in my tank liao. n didnt come out. would it die on starvation?

or should i need to add another fren for it?

Fire fishes are timid, they will not come out if there are angels or tangs in the tank.

oh no. i got 1 YT. about 2 1/2 inch leh. but the fire fish is about 3 inch oh!

I used to have 1 pair of firefish and some tangs in my tank.

I only sees the firefish about once every 2 months coming out for food !!

Very timid fish, especially when there are active swimmers in same tank as in tangs !!

strange. my duo comes out every day. my bet is if it doesn't come out within a week....

oh, im so angry! yesterday morning my fire fish come out for food. so i feed and it eat. hapi. the whole day can c it swimming here and there, ofcoz not at the front grass, but atleast can c.

but at the nite, this 2 children from one of the relative come for visit and open the cover and put in thier hand, plastic and ...... when i realise this, its too late.

now, no more sight for fire fish...

damn....... how irritating.............................................

tempremental one u have.

Mine is one of the smallest fish in tank, but is nearly always out and about. Favourite food is brine shrimps! Even if opposite end of tank, will dash across for a first bite!
