NSW in jerry can

Hi guys,

How long can NSW be stored in a jerry can? I went to a marine farm and they told me not to store it for more than 3 days as the water will turn stale. The person then recommended me TM salt which cost $30+ per box ....

Btw, roughly how many litres of NSW can those type of blue jerry can store?

i ever experience keeping SW in the jellycan around 8 days , did test the SW before im going to change water no problem given .. marine farm uncle told me tat as long as u dont close the cover its can keep for weeks...

more of providing water circulation to the water... dun let it stagnate....

U mean we cant mix salt water n kep it for weeks without putting pump in for circulation???

Can some1 enlighten me?As i lik to prep one pail of saltwater for stdby jzt incase of emergency...huh....

One jelly can is about 25 litres... cheaper alternative to mix salt.
