Hi, question as above

Today, i had went to Pe?ma?T to ask for PL lights. They do have PL light 24w for 3ft but only two tube. so wondering if there any LFS that sell PL lights 4x36W for 3 ft??

I think u can try DownTown East at Pasir Ris.

There is an aquarium shop there....5tar Aquarium, i think, that sells JBJ Lighting for 3 ft with 4 PL lights.....thinks it's about $300.

not too sure but u can check by calling.

Go to Nature Aquarium in Thompson. Look for Chan. He does DIY 4X36W PL lights. I bought two sets from him last month. Price for 2X36W is $99. For 4X36W is $180. All lights are 6500K. If you want to change to 10 000K, you need to add between $5-10 (if I'm not mistaken) per light. Don't forget to bargain. If he know you, he will reduce the price even more! Btw, he carries Atman light casing.

There are two options from NA if you want to fit 4 x 36W PL tubes into one casing:

(1) The 2 eballasts will have to sit outside a 3ft light casing.

(2) Use the 4ft light casing - the plastic stands can be slide along the body of the casing to fit a 3ft tank.
