Chiller went down to 22 degrees

Last night b4 i sleep, i check the tank and everything was in order. However, when i wake up in the morning i had a nasty shock. The chiller chilled my tank to 22 degrees!!!!! why is this happening? i removed my skimmer ytd. . could this be one of the factors???

yes bro, i can only see condensation nw. . cant see anything else. Now i just check the eheim pump, its faulty. wahlauz. . could the pump be the factor n not the chiller?

I think is the chiller. Should be the thermostat.

Must be either the thermostat failed or the on/off contact controlled by the thermostat failed if 22 degress temperature is tank water termperature.

If the chiller pump failed, chiller reading will be at lower end of setting and tank at room temperature.

Also, as suggested, check your chiller lower temperature setting first.

bro, u are the pro man. I just double check myself n with a few other sources, its the thermostat that's faulty. Its showing 60 degrees nw, so i temporarily solve the issue by setting the kick in at 62 degrees. which means the chiller is showing an inaccurate temp but its still in working condition. To change a new thermostat wld be ard $100. . think i sld stick with this method or go for the change?

You don't have a choice bro, unless you want to sit there to switch on/off, otherwise how to maintain your temperature? It will spoil the chiller faster and cost you more money instead.

bro, i agree with ya. Already send for derek to come fix my chiller. i am just afraid when i am nt home. . wad might happen. .
