hi all, newin keeping ricordea juz brought 1 today.... juz want to know how do u all feed it n wat u all use to feed it???

i nv feed mine... mine lives well under my MH...

if u tokkin bout ric florida, choose like half an hour when lights off, then use ur hand to bring a small piece of mysis near to its mouth....

y lights off? this is to prevent fishes from messing ard the food...

if need to, u might hav to turn off ur powerheads too...

i spray mysis shrimp and brine shrimp around its mouth and keep shrimps and fishes away by using a pipette like thing to steer them off..

as for me...i drip the plankton....dripping is a gd feeding way because u dun have 2 off your pump...n it can be miz with other additives as well...

i feed mine with mkt prawn (small pc) and its pretty cool watching the rics devour the food

i was listening to henry@ml talking to another reefer about this issue and he says just let put cyclopeeze and let it circulate round in the tank...that should be enough

Well, that's what I did for rics, lps and suncorals feeding.

Apart from c'peeze, also flood with my own frozen blend for more meaty feed.

Beware though, do that at your own risk as PO4 will rocket sky high

I can afford that 'cos I have the time and passion to change 35% water every 1.5 week.

jack... not intending to scare you off or anything...

but pls make the effort to learn more abt stuff before u buy..... if its gone after u go down a second trip.... then its not fated....

like some other reefers here... they will buy this fish... go home... put it with their other fishes... then the new fish eats up the old fishes...

then comes forum... make noise....

hope u get the picture and know where i am coming from...

we already have enuff ppl spreading the word the reefers are killing the enviroment....

yup have been reading about how to keep them but juz only want to know how others feed them so as to compare... but reallly thks u guys for the reply if there r more diff kind of feeding can still add on cause the more the merry... hahaha...

i myself also hate that when it happens...

jus got other 2 yumas from ML the 1 i brought last time is stii doing gd... hehehe.. hope it will last...
