hmmm if you followed CNN and BBC, they... or rather, they who died, do it because of the extreme religious teachings of islam somewhere in saudi, iraq, indonesia, dunno where also la... then they are somewhat brainwashed, and told that other ppl, in this case it's the Americans, are bad and if u kill the bad ppl, u will go to heaven! so they did kill the bad ppl and they indeed go to heaven.. but i dun think they would be met with 71 virgins...

most of them have been indoctrinated (brainwashed) from young in extremist schools and taught to kill in the name of their religion. to us, it seems like craziness to be suicidal, but imagine you grew up isolated from the rest of the world and told your mission in life is to die gloriously killing evil men, i guess you would be more willing to do such things.
