I think I just got cheated!!

I just got some materials to DIY my sump.

I think I was overcharged. Please tell me if it is as I have no idea about the prices of DIY materials.

2ft x30" acrylic sheet 6mm thick

the man charged me $32!!!! Is it ususally that expensive!!

1ft 2" diameter pvc pipe with end cap.

2x 16mm t-joints.

2x 16mm end cap

All for $11.

Your reply just made me feel better. I thought I was cheated. The man said $6.50 per sq feet, and I thought such acrylic sheets just cost $10 ++ for 2x2ft.

Just got my friend uncle to work out the quotation for an acrylic container (as water top up container)...

He forewarned me that the prices of acrylic sheet has gone up double over last year... doubled check with my tankmaker and some other of my friends....

And they said the same....

2 Ft x 30 in ( 2.5 Ft ) is 5 Ft2 so 6.50$ x 5 = 32.50$. So I dont think he cheated you.
