Calcium Reactor, CO2 bottle and solenoid for Sale

FOR SALE:

I'm selling my 1 year old Schuran Pico Calcium Reactor incl. 2 liter CO2 bottle and solenoid valve.

All parts are in good condition. The CO2 bottle is still 3/4 full and can be refilled at all good aquarium shops.

Price: 550 S$

I never had a CR so do I need another pump to push water in and out?

Hello bloodlamb,

The CR is based on a continuous flow principle. A pump is pumping water in a closed circuit. This will prevent accumulation of detritus in the reactor and helps to utilize the CO2 better.

for more information on the reactor.

In order to push water into the reactor you have 3 options:

1. Just connect a hose of the size of an airline hose to the reactor and hang it into the sump. The under pressure in the reactor will suck the water in.

2. More reliable as it prevents the line from getting clogged: simply connect the airline hose to your return, chiller or skimmer pump.

3. Alternatively you can also just hang the airline in your tank and let gravity do it's job (Reactor needs to stand below the aquarium in this case).

The reactor comes with everything you need in order to set it up and operate it.

Update (I forgot that I passed the coral chip sand to a friend in December):

The reactor comes with everything you need in order to set it up..

- Pump

- CO2 Bottle

- CO2 gauge and needle valve

- CO2 solenoid valve

- Manual

You only need to fill it with coral chip sand and connect it to your tank.
