Lava Rock suitable for Marine Tank?

Hi,

I would like to know if those Lava Rock used in Planted Tank can be used in Marine Tank as well? If it's just one piece as show below?

if my memory serves me correctly, it's a no-no to put lava rocks into marine tanks, unless you treat them first.

Better don't put, it leeches minerals and stuff into the water due to the corrosive nature of saltwater.

yup, and those mineral stuff are bad bad bad..., unless you love diatom

i had one in my tank but it a old pcs that have been in FW for around 3 to 4 yrs

and in a fish only tank for about 1yr ++

so far so good after i tranfer it to my reef tank
