those kind of five-plan, nisso acrylic tanks.... they have this black plastic on the top and bottom of tank....

question is.... with such design... is there still a need to place styrofoam inbetween the tank and table top.... using it as office tank...

Not so sure about nisso tanks, but five plan tanks are glass tank. I have broken one before, and is quite certain that it is glass and it is only 3 mm thick. You may want to consider again if you want to setup a marine tank.

I have use it as marine tank before and it very strong . The one i have is 3x1.5x1.5 . :lol:
