Tiger cuke do get "lost" from time to time... if you got lots of LR for it to hide then you are in for a hard search. They mostly attach themselves onto the base of a LR and does an erection of its body to cover more ground for gazing. The "attached" part is the butt and will spit out "cleaned" sand every now and then. So look out for small amount of sand released or their moulded "shit sand" to get an idea of where they are. Think of them as the contortionists of the sea... its hard for them to get stuck.

On another note... if you do not see your cuke active for a few days and had been hidding a lot... it may be reproducing itself by splitting in half. On average it will take a week for the head to grow a butt and the butt to grow a head. Do take note of how the spilt parts are... they should be a clean cut (like an amputee's healed limp) and no intestines or other weird stuffs danging out. If its the latter case... take it out in a hospital tank added with small amount of lugol to help healing and also spare the LS in your main tank from the toxin. :) Don't freak out in seeing more cukes than you buy... haha I did when mine did. :paiseh:
