Hmmm. Never heard of bristle star catching mantis shrimp.

My two 12inch diameter bristle stars can't even catch the cleaner shrimps that are in the same tank for three years. I think you'll have better luck using a trap instead.

Tried alot of methods recommend but to no avail.

Now trying out the bristle star method 'cause someone has proven it works as the shrimps will attack the star

I've heard of people submerging the rock the mantis shrimp hiding in into fresh water, they claimed that it dashed out within seconds!! Try it at your own risk!!
