Is my anemone dying?

Hi guys, got two anemones for my clownfish last night and things are not looking pretty.

Both have "attached" themselves to the LR but one of them seems to be very 'nua'. I don't really know how to describe it but it seems to sliding from rock to rock and its a little slimy when I touch it.

I have attached a pic of it, can see that its quite 'nua'. Is it dying?

The other one is doing okay, it ate a small piece of prawn when I fed it last night. But, it seems to have gone MIA when I checked the tank this morning.

It takes time for an anemonie to actually adjust to the new environment of a new tank.

Give it 1-2 days and see how it goes. Closely monitor the anemonie for any strange behavior. Also watch its colour.

Is it the same when u bought it from ur LFS? Check ur anemone if it's injured. If not, probably stressed during transporting n transfering to tank. Btw anemones need strong lights, good water movements n good para..

slimy is good. give it some time.

avoid high flow areas n give it good lighting.
