hi guys, planning to get a chiller couple of mths later..... but got this question bothering me.... does the glass tank thickness important when using chiller? i'm planning on 2-3, 5 plan 2ft tank, think glass thickness is 4mm ba..... will the glass crack due to the difference in temp in tank(22-24'c) and the ambient of the room(29-30'c)? Pls advice! thanks all in advance! :D

I gotta feeling..Woo...hoo....That tonight's gonna be a good night.....That tonight's gonna be a good, good night!

Looking at my situation....dun ever start a tank with 8mm thickness or below...

If your tank is 2 feet, forget about chiller...fan will do. Don't waste the money. But if it is 4 ft and above, you might want to consider Resun...you can read about the comments in the forum.

I think Chinmo is trying to keep some cool water species of seahorses thus needs to keep the temperature below 25 degrees.

Anyway Chinmo, the only point to note is that below 24 degrees the surface of your tank will have lots of condensation during humid days. ;)

Hi Chinmo,

Loves them too, how I wish we could see them more often in Singapore. I guess, I will have to leave you with the resposibilties of creating a haven for them here for our enjoyment. :P

Please update us once you have them, would loves to see them! :yeah:
