Its like an added precaution when topping up water from the tap.  The poly fiter turned dirty green after multiple use.  I just put it under the tap and allow water to trickle to a bottle below.

How long does the poly filter used up??

does it work lyk DI or RO?

Did a search says it do works like a DI... :shock:
