wat i know is that anemone have a very very slow metabolism. so when condition r not good it may take months for it to show symtoms which is already too late. it was said that if it survived more then 8 mths in ur tank........congrag u might have done it

believe less then 50% of wat ppl tell u n bring it up tp 99% by confirming it urself

T8s may be sufficient for anemone provided there is quite a number of tubes used n the anemone sticks somewhere high....

anyway, read from professionals ( Tropical fish hobbyist ) that in the long run it is not good to the anemone.... nv mention whether they will eventually die or lose their color, though....

so i think if now u got at least 2/3 FL, u can get an anemone, provided u will upgrade sometime later.... cos with a very strong lighting, u can even forgo weekly feeding sessions...

anemone suppose need lights to produce food.

same as corals. also they ate meat if u feed them.

80% light as food source, n 20% target feed.

Also having a good clown residing may helps too.

My maroon always feed its anemone well. shrimp

meat for anemone n flakes/brine shrimp for itself.
