2ft with tunze 6060 wavemaker???

Anyone using the 6060 tunze for a 2 feet tank??? Pls advice, think of buying 1.

well i think it is quite a bit of wasting money, u keeping sps? a Seio 820 abt $60 will be good enuff or maybe 1100. save the money for a good skimmer

Tunze is one of the very popular equipment used by reefers with SPS tank. Normally, Tunze is used in larger tanks as its flowrate is way way too powerful for a 2 feet tank. U will probably creating sand storm in ur tank; all ur corals will be blown away by the strong current generated.

Unless u plan to keep sps, then u may consider Seio 820 or 1100, else u may only need a Seio 620 to generate sufficient current in ur tank.

(I used only loc-lines attached to my return pipe to generate current in my 2x1.5x1 LPS & Softies tank, even so I need to direct most of the loclines output to the back of the rocks as my LPS don't like strong current.)
