Finally, after a long wait. I finally bought my new 4x2x2 tank from bro Flippers. Arms going to break after 2 days of setting up. Here it is.

note that u used larger stone chips to place in ur sump.. (left hand side), doesnt it become a nitrate factory by trapping detritus?

Hmm have been doing this for quite sometime liao. So far no problems as i used alot of wool to trap detritus. Also changed the wool very often. Nitrates have been very low. I used back the setting from my 3ft tank. This is how i place the mediums in my sump for my 3ft as well for 1 whole year. No problems.

Just transfer the fishes over loh... as i am using old sand and water. I transfered everything in a step by step basis.

1.) Sand Goes in first with a little bit of old water.

2.) Then slowly siphon old water from my 3ft tank with very low flow so not to cloud my water.

3.) Rocks goes in.

4.) Then fishes goes in.

I got somemore sand from the seller to top up to make sandbed 4.5inches high. Rocks i also top up about 20kgs.

Just use more layers of wool and change your wool as often as possible. I change mine as soon as they changes colour.

Washing not enough lah.. best is to replace the wools with new ones....

Hehe tank warming ah.. Anytime during weekdays as long as its after 7pm. You organise lah..Everybody welcomed. Except that my tank is not stocked with corals yet. So quite empty. Only got fishes. hehehe
