Question on ppm conversion

Dear all

Can someone kindly advice if ppm = mg/l.... think i've read some articles and confuse over it (some water parameters use ppm, while others use mg/l).

I've checked the SGREEF "Calculation and conversion" link but dun hv ppm leh (4give mi if mi bobo n miss out the info)

btw what is meq/l for???

u r correct

ppm=mg of solute dissolved/L of solvent

meq/l is another unit for measurement but i've only come across it for kh.

i don't know but maybe it has other uses

1meq/l = 2.8dkh
