Problems with Button

Hi guys,

I have problems with my buttons LPS. Whenever the MH are on, the buttons tend to shrink up til you can see the skeleton. When the lights are off, they blow up and expand.

What could be the problems? MH too strong? Current too strong? Or my dwarf angel that might pose a threat to them? IMO, very unlikely to be wrong water parameters as i have test those and everything seems fine.

Too much lighting u meant?

I have my 2 buttons in my tank for about 2-3 weeks... doing very well...when the lights are off...

disappointing... any solutions?

bro if really suffer from shock i think better to shift it to a low light area first then slowly let it get use to ur lighting.

i have experienced the same. were caused by both MH & my angel. u/std that not all dwarf angels are reef safe. keep us posted as i may start keeping buttons again.

i believe that its cant be the MH, as many people are so successful in keeping buttons with MH... shld be the dwarf angels at fault...

tryin all sorts of way to fish out those angels!
