my lobophyllia recently decided to not open and gaps its several mouths and the lights are on

any ideas why guys?

water parameters:

ca 380

mg 1200

ph 8.3

kh 9

no3 20ppm

other corals seem to be doing fine though

appreciate inputs and suggestions

try to shift it to another location and wait for about a week .... see got any developing or not? if yes stop moving it...that's what i do

alexgan, this new place you shift it to, what qualities does it have in terms of flow and light?

bro shoelevy if lets say have to shift it then have to be a low current n low light area first. let it recover then bring it out again. IMO they dun really need strong flow.

Frankly speaking .... i always move my lobo here and there and they seem ok to me....i think is your coral stress during the transportation. Maybe you give it sometime and see how it goes.
