jambul
Hi, I need help from you guys in here. I recently bought a naso tang from lfs...about 3 weeks ago and it is still not eating. Meanwhile, i see it getting thinner and thinner. I have tried everything, pellets, frozen brine shrimp and mysis shrimp, flake food, seaweed etc. It just refuse to go near any food I put in the tank. All my other fishes are feeding fine. I see it sometimes grazing on the live rocks but I doubt there is much food there. There is also no sign of disease...it swims along just fine except that it keeps to itself a lot of the time. Any suggestions? Thanks

CrazyFish
I have the same problem with my Naso too, not eating since I bought it a week ago.
SRC Member akahoshi Posted March 4, 2005 SRC Member Share Posted March 4, 2005 I have the same problem with my Naso too, not eating since I bought it a week ago. I used to have this problem with fishes that don't eat when they enter my tank even though they were eating at the LFS.. because they never get to eat the food as the other fishes eat like got no tomorrow.. However, after i setup my own quarrantine tank, my new fishes have no competition in the quarrantine tank and can slowly get used to the way i feed and the food.. jambul
Hi Bors, Thanks for all your replies and concern but I think mt naso has gone back to his maker. He has been missing for 3 days and I cannot locate it. Probably somewhere in the rocks and even though I moved some of the rocks, still cannot locate it. Checked the water on Sunday and all the tests looks good. Anyway, will probably look for another one soon, or maybe a PBT.
