Prata partial bleach

Notice half of my green prata slightly bleach a few days ago. The half that is facing outward. My tank is near the window. lately tank water temp. rather high, ard 29 degree when all T5 on.

rest of LPS ok.

Pls advice what could be the problem.

might be light...shift it somewhere else where it can enjoy more light...

My prata for 6 mths kena bleach before but I put it some distance away from other corals and leave it alone . After 2mths, it fully recover.

my guess is the heat. These 2 days water temp. below 29 and prata seems to recover a little.

Light is not likely as it has been in the same position for many months and very happy and open very big.

Does prata require alot of light??can someone advise mi??

Mi having a 70 watts MH...is it enough...put the prat almost to the top of the tank...

i just change my MH to 2 150watts. wah....PRATA require light.

i just on my MH and the prata is growing up!

My guess is that its bleaching due to the heat as I have experienced this too with a moon coral. I have a 250w MH so I don't think the coral received insufficient light.

I also read that bleaching due to heat does occur but it will take awhile.

im running 240w T5.. no bleaching.. but dont place prata under direct strong lights.. maybe the cause of the bleach too... is it expanding in the first place?

Try feeding it mysis during the night when its tentacles are extended. It will help it to recover from bleaching.
