hi guys, i've been using rowaphos inside resun FR 1000ml model

i was adviced by the reefer i got this fr from to tune it such that the water causes the surface of the rowaphos to only dance

but recently i came across a thread where a reefer suggests otherwise, i think he has the rowaphos flying all around in his FR

so i'd like to know from you guys which method should be preferred and why?

thanks!

;)

well that fella with flying rowas is going to see lots of rowa bits in his tank or sump soon. Good luck trying to clear that out before leaching occurs.

Be teachable always, nobody has a monopoly on wisdom. But learn to distinguish "fact" from "opinion".

The reason why we have `dancing walzt' in the FR is to prevent any particles to exit the unit into our sump or main tank. U can have a tornado in the FR if U like as long as U have a way to prevent any....& I mean ANY....on the rowa particles exiting the FR unit because the sponge provide with the unit has inadequate ability to prevent all this.....

Maybe can place something finer than those sponges if U want to have a higher flow but U may be facing a hard time if the unit choke........

*cough...cough...cough.....*
