Selling off new tank 32 inch cube

acroporidae,

Water in the main tank over flow the partition and flow down the durso to the sump and water from the sump pushes up into the area underneath the sandbed (a 2.5 - 3 inch space is created for this ) The return water pipe goes underneath the sandbed - so it will push (flow upwards) all the detritus from bottom to the top of the overflow - at the same time the heavier detritus will flow to the sump via a underflow created. The entire system is berlin style - as I am firm believer.

And the system is created such that when you need to change water you just have to flush the water from the bottom and the water will reverse (flow downward) its direction which dislogde any detritus stuck in the sand bed.

Hope it is clear.

Thanks Jim & Lester for the kind words :)

Interesting method, but I'm still confuse how it works, can post some pics?

visit my place and you will know..... ;)

anyway, this method is great for BB tank and it sucks dirts from the bottom of the tank and flow down the over flow....if not happy with underflow, you can also block the path from the underflow and wala...it becomes a overflow system.....

in theory, this system provides a higher oxygenation level because water at the bottom of the tank tends to be lower in O2 level and by bringing it upwards it improves the O2 level.....however, the downside of it is that you can't have any sandbed and also you do need very high current near the surface of the water to keep those thin layer of protein from forming....

Thanks guys for the explanation. This system is designed for an ocean runner 6500. I do not have any more picture to post becasue I have not used this tank so far as it is not according to my specifications.

So for this price - the person is getting a brand new 12 mm tank with chengai wood, water proof formica and GF piping - i dont think you can get this price at all from the cheapest quote.

So give me a call if there is anybody who is keen.
