I just bought a Resun CL450 for my 3ft by 1.5 by 1.5ft. I am using an internal overflow system. I have 7 fishes. For corals I have prata, leathers, hammer, moon, anemoe, elegance, mushrooms, plates and bubble. I am using MH.

Can anyone please tell me what is the ideal temperature for my tank. Right now my temperature in tank is 25.5. Will a not right temperature affect my corals and fishes?

Plse help :)

IMO its too cold

27-28 degrees should be just fine

But if you tame me, we shall need each other.

Thanks for your kind wisdom. I just set mine to 27degree. I notice my 2mths old elegance didn't open as big as it used to when i set my temperature lower. But the rest was doing alright. Lets see what happen from now.

My friends told me most corals are from regional waters so they don't need the water to be cold, just constant around 27 degree will be fine.

Generally more impt to keep it within range of 26 to 29 lah. try not to let the temperature fluctuations exceed 3 degrees. Stable temp within range is more impt than a "perfect or ideal" temp
