Coralline... I can imagine the calcium and carbonate uptake per day by the coralline algae itself..

Cityofangels- the clowns host in my LPS near the sandbed, and one occassionally snuggle between the branches of my hydno.

And yeah, the corraline sucks up more calcium than the few sps I am running. The rocks are so heavily encrusted, the corraline is layering on each other. This is more a liverock with corraline tank, rather than a reef any more.

Try some sallylightfoot crabs? I've observed that they will eat coralline algae if deprived of other algae.

Hee hee of course not ok if they turn white lah. That means die already.

Too lazy to remove them and just leave them inside the tank, hoping they will be resurrected from the grave one day (so far never happen). At least got corraline so not that bad.
