this blue star fish is call blue linkia

ML is selling them.

The care level is said to be difficult cos "very intolerant of sudden changes in oxygen levels, salinity and pH of the water, and cannot tolerate copper-based medications. The drip acclimation method is highly recommended for all Sea Stars due to their intolerability to changes in water chemistry. It should never be exposed to air while handling, and should be carefully monitored for the presence of a small parasitic snail." (drafted from liveaquaria.com)

Starfishes generally feed on detrus and leftover food from your fishes so you shouldn't worry too much about it starving in your tank. It's true that they are sensitive to major changes in water conditions (like any other marine invert) but IN MY OWN OPINION AND EXPERIENCE, starfishes are really really easy to keep. So, I'm thinking you won't have too much trouble keeping him alive
