What time to feed the coral??

When feeding coral with frozen food, do I need to off the light of the tank??

Saw in Iwanta they off the MH before feeding the coral...

Lights off is hanky panky and feeding time for most corals, try looking at them during midnight (after 1-2 hours into total darkness with moonlight)using a dim torchlight....u will see corals behave differently....

my finger coral would close up and swing ard... goniopora would strink back lo... then all the fish would hide.... mushrooms and yuma remain open... is it like that??

1 or 2 hrs after ur normal lights off time will do for lps like bubbles, u will see thier tentacles out...

hmmm ... so does it mean the best time to feed the corals is to turn off the normal light to a dimmer light like moonlight then pour the the corals food solution into the main tank with slow circulation flow in the tank ???

Not necessay during light off period. Most coral (sun, lobo, prata and etc) will slowly show its tentacles if it sense food in the water. so just target feed it when its tentacles is out.
