Tangs

Hi...I have a yellow tang. Was thinking of adding another tang...maybe a purple tang...but then...those on sale are all so HUGE....has anyone seen purple tangs the size of those small blue tangs? I have seen thumb sized kole tangs...but I want a thumb sized purple tang!

Always something more important than fish.

Never seen purple tangs so small. Blue tang got but so small very easy to up the lorry, especially when you already have a yellow tang!!

You should not try adding a purple tang at all or risk the yellow tang killing it and wasting your $$.

I think (marine) therefore I am

Tangs can be very aggressive...notorious ones are the yellow and purple ones. If you put any smaller fishes after them..sure kana wack if precaution not taken....

I normally get bigger tangs after my YT has been aclimatised in the tank....

Hmmm..lucky my yellow tang is leaving my pipefish and gobies alone. He's the boss of the tank...the most visible fish. :D

Razo>> thanks for dropping by to get the powerhead. :)

As for the market price... I think $20 is pretty much the lowest I have seen for a YT.
