Hi All,

I recently acquired a "goby" from a fellow aquarist who didn't know the exact id of the fish.

Wanting to do an id today, I left the fish in a betta box in my main tank and this morning found it had jumped over the box into the water...

Cursing my luck I discovered a msg by the same bro saying that the fish is a rogue scorpionfish...he had found the id that night..

now wondering what to do as I have kepy lionfishes bfore but not this particular fish..

Any bros here with experience can state what they eat ? That guy's been fasting since morning..

I've been trying to catch him but to no avail as he is small enough to disappear between the rocks :(

Cheers

Hi bros,

Here's a sad ending :(

I managed to catch the fish using a small green net and placed it in my sump together with the damsel I was gona give for adoption.

When I returned in the evening the damsel was fine but the scorpionfish died...

I have no idea why.

Feel kinda sad as I hate LS dying in my care..

i think they can be exposed to air... i saw an LFS owner carry a frogfish, left it on the table for awhile and then placed it in another tank... maybe 1min out of water?
