hi guys! thanks for the encouragement . The specs of my tank:

1 prizm skimmer

1 36 watt PL light

1 Eden powerhead

1 fan to maintain temp between 26-27

Maintaince: 3 drops of seachem reef iodide everyday

0.25ml of calcium every 3 days

Water changes of 10% every 2 weeks using Redsea salt

Feeding of henry's food every morning

PL light switched on for 9 hrs

Cleaning of skimmer and the walls of the tank every week

Water top up every night

Would like to learn more reefing from you guys. :D

bro,

ur 3 drops of iodide might be too much for a 4 gallon tank.

did you check out the manufacturer's recommendation?

you know, the tank looks much bigger than a 4 gallon tank.. looks more like a 1.5ft to 2ft tank... are you sure you got the measurements right?? hahax..

hi guys! Thanks for appreciating my tank. Actually is tank is those 5 plan tanks which comes in 3 sizes, S,M and L. This tank is the L size. I added 4 margarita snails and 2 of them ended up being eaten by my zebra hermit crab. Looks like i'll be getting rid of him soon. I just love snails. I hardly clean the tank walls now as i let them do the job. I got a tangaroa goby hiding somewhere.

That totals up to 2 perculas, 1 tangaroa gody, 1 purple firegoby, 1 royal gamma and another undeclared fish which is contributing its services to helping me rid algae from my tank. :D

Hey Dazer

You've got a nice tank. How long have you been keeping it?

You may wish to measure (or re-measure :D ) the tank so that we can calculate/ affirm the volume, just to satisfy some of our's curiosity. :P

Pl don't "get rid" of your zebra hermit crab. IMO it's really a nice little fellow in the marine envt. If you see it in the snail's shell, chances are it only went in after the snail died, or dying. BTW, how big is it anyway? :yeah:
