Alright, how bout this. I'll go email the frag fella (US side) and see what's required on HIS side - or does he just pack it, ship it and that's the end of his business. In the meantime, someone else go check out what's required on OUR side? Any volunteers? Perhaps email the relavant authorities or find out from whoever regarding whatever..... ANyone?

Last time i wanna get 300 ric florida to create a ric garden but fail due to the lack of support i get from lfs, license importer dun wanna import for me despite i send email to every single lfs listed in the list, not even a single one reply my email, really pathetic. Below is the email reply from AVA regarding soft coral import, i nv ask abt hard coral import though....

Dear Jiebin,

The Agri-Food and Veterinary Authority of Singapore (AVA) only allows the import of ornamental fish and other ornamental aquatic products to be done by licenced importers, of which the requirements for the application of such a licence can be found at http://www.ava.gov.sg/AnimalsPetSector/Imp...OrnamentalFish/. As sending of such products via parcel post is also prohibited, I would suggest you seek the help of a licenced importer to assist you with the import of these soft corals. A list of these importers can be found at http://www.safea.org/.

If the coral species that you wish to purchase is a CITES species, you would also have to apply for CITES permits in both the importing and exporting countries. The applications for CITES permits can be found at http://www.ava.gov.sg/AnimalsPetSector/CIT...angeredSpecies/.

Should you have any further queries regarding this issue, please feel free to contact me for further clarifications.

Best Regards,
