Skimmer in Sump

Hi all,

Can i have some advise please...

I have currently placed my skimmer in the same compartment as my return pump (last compartment of the sump)

Is it okie ? or I should place the skimmer at a different compartment from the return pump to achieve max. efficiency of skimming ?

i placed my skimmer in the centre compartment, where my fuge is.

it should be in the middle compartment. reason not to be at the same as the return as skimmer normally produce micro bubbles.

also, before the skimmer can skim, the water is send back to the main tank if u put on the same compartment.
